Dedicated to Fellowship and Spiritual Growth
United Ministries, Inc. was founded in 2005 by purchasing a parsonage and church building called 9th St Christian Center in Green Bay, WI. Our mission then and now is to help churches and other ministries clothe, feed, and serve God's family and take care of the needs of children.
In 2008, we acquired 38 acres formerly used as both a Salvatorian Seminary and JFK Prep School in St. Nazianz, WI. We have accomplished many things with the Blessing of our Lord and faithful volunteers that continue to give of their time over the years.
We serve the area with two Food Pantries (St. Nazianz and New Holstein) for well over 300 families per month. On average we disperse 8-10 TONS of food every week! We continue to support many individuals and organizations in and around the surrounding area.
On site many accomplishments have taken place. A temporary roof has been put on the church that allows it to be open daily during the summer. The staff and living-quarters were updated for occupancy. Buildings have been re-roofed and a heating system was installed in the Thrift Store. Our workshop is up and running. A man-made lake has been completed along with a family RV park and campground. Plenty of recreational activities are available on site: swimming, volleyball, mini-golf, hiking, camping, and areas for quiet meditation.
Since July 2016 we accommodate Summer Camps, open to all types of groups. Our purpose is to help all to know God better and that he cares for all of us.
Our grounds in St. Nazianz are the perfect place to host your ministry's outdoor event. We are equipped to host events from large picnics to summer camps, camp outs, retreats, day events, overnight events, sporting events and more. We have many features to offer including a small lake for swimming that comes equipped with rope swing, a slide, and diving board and a deck for hanging out by the lake. Our campground area has campers if you are not into tent camping, as well as RV hookups, group fire pits, outdoor bathrooms and plenty of space to pitch tents to accommodate groups of many sizes. It is our plan to one day host retreats on site, and/or make the space available for churches and youth groups to utilize for fellowship and spiritual growth.
